PRODUCT OWNER
We Realise Potential in Your Story
Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are an award winning digital content studio and media network who are currently on a quest to find a Product Owner to join the Strategic division of our Platform Operations team.
At Little Dot we believe in realising potential and that extends to the technology we use to power our operational decision making. By having super smart tools, we’ll have better information at our fingertips to identify ways to improve how we do work and deliver more value to our clients.
As Product Owner, you will be central to this and work with a suite of key business systems, primarily our Sales pipeline (CRM) along with our rights management platform, time management platform and contracts database. You will work with a wide range of senior stakeholders and teams to find ways to streamline and optimise how we use these systems, unlocking the full potential they can offer.
We would support the right candidate with product training in the relevant systems. There would also be training on the business areas that these systems support. In addition, we aim to provide necessary professional qualifications and deepen soft skills that will allow them to perform the role such as presentation skills, time management, problem solving.
PERKS OF THE JOB
We are proud to be an award winning workspace with employee wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. We offer hybrid and flexi-time working, mental health and wellbeing programmes, enhanced gender neutral parental leave, interest free financial support and a digital nomad policy that allows you to work from abroad in two one week blocks a year. Plus all the usuals such as pension contributions, annual leave and office perks like free lunches, socials, and health treatments!
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
1. Multi-product development roadmap and improved Group commercial awareness
- This will include defining the annual product vision that aligns with our divisional goals, and working with the DoO and HoSO to outline key quarterly outcomes.
- The Product Owner will act as the business face of products, playing a crucial role in establishing future platform and operational KPIS.
- Working hand in hand with senior management to define data output needs and reports, and translating data into intelligent information and trends.
- Supply regular sales pipeline reports to C-suite and leadership teams, and productivity reports and resourcing dashboards to business teams.
2. System management (backlogs/coordinate sprints) and improved user experience
- Serve as the voice of business stakeholders and end-users, with knowledge on emerging needs and user feedback on a regular basis.
- Able to challenge and manage stakeholder expectations while balancing priorities and release cycles.
- Tracking user behaviour for subsequent adoption to understand what’s working and well and what could use a push — a proactive attitude to promote or implement existing and new feature updates is a plus.
- Analysing user feedback to distinguish patterns causing friction or successes, and actively work to simplify touch-points and streamline usage.
3. Oversee features development, vendor relationships, and best practice usage
- Carry out CRM configuration and for other systems pass onto relevant vendor development teams to prioritise and build on our behalf.
- Track development and communicate with stakeholders on release availability.
- Ensure our features are understood, users made aware and trained, with day to day maintenance or escalations of defects.
- Manage day to day SaaS vendor relationships [note contractual renewals and pricing outside of scope of role].
- Periodically assess product suite and market landscape. If and when be capable of carrying out RFPs for any system replacement.
- Responsible for up to date user training materials and consistency of product use — whilst being mindful of LDS ways of working and policy needs.
