Based in the heart of Shoreditch, we are a multi-platform production company, social media agency, and digital media network who are currently on a quest to find a Analytics Engineer to join our Data, Tech & Product team. Is this your next opportunity?
We are looking for a Analytics Engineer to join our growing Insights team at Little Dot Studios. You need to be passionate about data, analytics and learning new skills. From a skills point of view, the role requires someone with experience of working with stakeholders to understand requirements, and translating these into data pipelines and dashboards. This role is across a range of clients and categories and you must be confident working with large datasets and keen to find new and exciting ways to use data for optimisation and insights. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, who is comfortable extracting and manipulating data and designing a suitable presentation layer with BI tools.
We are redesigning our data model and part of this role will be working with developers on requirements and testing to improve the reports and insights for stakeholders. The Analytics Engineer will overall be contributing to the delivery of data and insight projects across any of LDS 400+ clients.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
Design and develop data pipelines and models to support reporting and data visualisation outputs
Work within DBT and SQL BigQuery to manipulate data for business intelligence
Gain a deep understanding of our data sets to come up with solutions to data problems for internal teams and clients
Production of accurate and meaningful datasets and dashboards
Introduce new dashboards that will deliver additional value to stakeholders
Contribute to the design and development of the new data model (requirements and testing)
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve teams data knowledge and technical skills across the organisation
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.
Good technical data manipulation skills with SQL (Python or R would be a plus);
Strong numeracy and analysis skills;
Experience in designing and building dashboards with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI etc);
Experience of writing scripts to test the accuracy of data pipelines;
Experience of designing requirements and working with developers to enhance data models;
Able to confidently explain the technical details of data in a non-technical way;
Keen and outside of the box thinker, eager and innovative problem solver;
Able to demonstrate an understanding of the following (hands-on knowledge advantageous): digital analytics data (ideally including search) and social Media platforms, particularly Youtube.
